Product pages: what really helps sell online

Photos, information, reassurance: the product page does a salesperson’s job. The elements that answer questions before they block the purchase.

By Mohtaoua team

In an online store, the product page replaces the in-store conversation. If a question goes unanswered, the visitor looks elsewhere, often at a competitor.

Answer the real questions

For a laptop, it’s the specifications, the condition and the warranty. For a perfume, the olfactory family, the notes and how long it lasts. Every category has its decisive questions: they should be visible without searching.

  • Sharp photos, from several angles and in context.
  • Key specifications as a list, not buried in a paragraph.
  • Price, availability and delivery times.
  • Payment options, including cash on delivery when offered.

Reassure before you convince

Warranty, returns, easy contact, customer reviews: reassurance removes the last hesitations. On HM Laptop, we added a block dedicated to transparency right on the product page, next to the buy button.

A good product page doesn’t push people to buy. It removes the reasons to hesitate.

Built for mobile and search

A large share of visits happens on phones: the buy button should stay within reach and information readable without zooming. A precise title, a unique description and structured data also help the page appear on Google and in AI answers.
