02Data we collect

The website offers no user account and no online payment.

The information you enter in the contact form or in the contact windows shown on some pages (name, company, email, phone, message, project type) is sent by our server to Mohtaoua’s mailbox, solely to answer your request. So that we know what interested you, the request also includes the page it was sent from, the first page you visited and the website you came from (domain and path, without parameters). This information is not stored in a website database.

When you write to us, we receive the information in your message and any attachments, such as a CV or portfolio for a job application.

03Purposes

• Answering your requests and following up on them.
• Preparing and sending a commercial proposal when you ask for one.
• Reviewing job applications.
• We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not send you marketing communications without your consent.

04Cookies and analytics

With your consent, given through the banner shown on your first visit, the website uses Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC) to measure its audience: pages viewed, where visits come from, device type, and contact actions (sending a request, clicking WhatsApp, phone or email), without ever sending your name, contact details or the content of your messages. No Google script is loaded before you agree; Google signals and ad personalisation are disabled. Google Analytics sets cookies (_ga, _ga_*) kept for up to 13 months. You can withdraw or change your choice at any time through the “Cookies” link at the bottom of the page. The website uses no advertising cookies.

On product pages, the favourites you add are stored only in your browser (local storage) and are never sent to us.

The Contact and Careers pages offer a Google Maps map. It is only loaded if you click “Show the map”; Google may then set cookies, subject to Google’s privacy policy. The website also sets a technical cookie (NEXT_LOCALE) that remembers the language you chose.

The website also keeps a few technical details in your browser (session storage, not cookies): whether you have already sent a request during the visit, so the contact window is not offered again, and the first page visited. This information is erased when the browser is closed and is only sent if you submit a request.

05Retention

• Contact requests: as long as needed to handle the request, then up to 3 years after the last exchange.
• Job applications: up to 2 years, unless you ask us to delete them.

06Recipients

Your data is only accessible to the Mohtaoua team members involved in your request. It passes through our email and hosting providers: [providers to be completed].

07Your rights

Under Law No. 09-08, you have the right to access, correct and object to the processing of your data. To exercise these rights, write to contact@mohtaoua.ma.

You may also file a complaint with Morocco’s data protection authority (CNDP): www.cndp.ma.

08Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the data we receive. We recommend that you do not send sensitive information through the form or by email.

09Website AI assistant

The website offers a conversational assistant (“Assistant Mohtaoua”) built on an artificial intelligence model provided by OpenAI. The messages you type are sent to this provider to generate the answers. Except in the case described below, Mohtaoua does not keep them and the conversation stays in your browser for the session.

Do not enter sensitive information. If you give the assistant your name and a way to reach you (phone or email) to be contacted, our server automatically sends contact@mohtaoua.ma a summary of your request and the text of the conversation, with the page where it took place. This is handled like any contact request and is not stored in a website database.

10Changes

This policy may be updated. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page.
