Pieces imagined by JB and hand-picked vintage finds.

An online gallery for JB’s unique upcycled vintage pieces: the artist, the Mot’Art concept and a simple path to a quote request.
Jap’in Vintage is the world of Jalil Benhamida, aka JB: a Moroccan artist and former banker turned to art, who gives vintage objects a second life through his patented Mot’Art concept.
Motorcycle tanks turned into lamps, seats into armchairs, helmets into light fixtures. The goal: a digital presence worthy of these pieces, both gallery and shop.

Born in 1987, JB combines his passion for vintage with an artist’s eye. Every piece is imagined, drawn and brought to life by him. The website had to tell this person’s story before presenting any product.
Designing a website that doesn’t just present objects, but conveys the world of their creator.
Translating the world of JB and the Mot’Art concept into a cohesive web experience.
A simple interface that gives the objects and their character centre stage.
A catalogue of one-of-a-kind pieces, browsable by universe, with direct access to a quote request.
Pages that present each creation as an artwork: photo, name, story.
A gallery designed for desktop and mobile alike.
Extraordinary objects, each a single piece, don’t sell like mass-produced goods. The website had to keep the brand’s handcrafted, offbeat character while offering clear navigation and an obvious path to a quote request.
Showing the pieces as they are: handmade, repurposed, unique.
Presenting the shop as an exhibition rather than a mere catalogue.
Organising the offer into distinct worlds: creations, bikes, house & studio, watches.
Guiding visitors towards a quote request, contact and Instagram.
From the homepage, the offer is organised into universes with bold colours. Each has its own identity, and all share the same taste for vintage and repurposed objects.

Collector motorcycles and mini-bikes.

A place to experience the universe in real life.

A selection of vintage watches.
The shop showcases the creations in large vertical formats, with no visual noise around them: the photo, the name of the piece, and the urge to learn more.

The Japin logo in green, orange reserved for actions, a dark background for the artist and light pages for the pieces. The “Request a quote” button stays within reach on every screen.
